Welcome

I am a clinical psychologist currently practicing in Los Angeles. I provide psychotherapy to adolescents, adults, couples, and groups. I meet with California residents in my Venice office and NY clients virtually.

Approach

I draw from psychodynamic, relational, and humanistic traditions to better understand your unique psychology. In practice, this means fostering curiosity together while I listen closely for unconscious thoughts and feelings that shape your mood and behavior.

This work begins with a trusting relationship. Through that connection, you become both intellectually aware and emotionally awakened - re-experiencing parts of your inner life that have been hidden or long obscured.

I believe every person carries inherent strength and wisdom, even when facing distress or despair. Together, we’ll uncover longstanding patterns of relating that no longer serve you. By bringing these patterns into awareness, we open space for greater flexibility, freedom, and vitality in your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

With deeper understanding, you find yourself better able to meet - and embrace - life’s inevitable uncertainties. I see this journey toward more expansive living as both a privilege and a partnership, one that asks for courage and commitment.

Education & Training

I received my doctorate in clinical psychology from The Graduate Center, CUNY, and completed predoctoral training at Columbia University Medical Center (externship) and Mt. Sinai Medical Center (internship) in New York. I went on to serve as a postdoctoral fellow at Columbia University’s Counseling & Psychological Services, where I later joined the Trauma Team and the Sexuality & Gender Identity Teams before transitioning into private practice.

Alongside my clinical work, I have led process groups for psychiatry fellows at Mt. Sinai as a clinical instructor. I’ve also pursued advanced training in Group Psychotherapy, Internal Family Systems, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, and evidence-based treatments for trauma and addictions.

Before entering the field of psychology, I earned a B.A. in Cultural Anthropology, magna cum laude, from Cornell University. I am also a certified Yin Yoga and Meditation Teacher, and I draw on mindfulness and somatic practices as steady foundations in my work.

Supervision

I provide supervision for clinicians in training working toward licensure and early career professionals looking for mentorship. Please feel free to contact me for more information.
